 Life Harvest Church is a Host Site for Angel Food Ministries

 Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States.

In 1994, Pastors Joe and Linda Wingo found their hearts going out to the families of many of the local families in Monroe, GA, affected by the recent industrial plant closings.  On their back porch, the first Angel Food distribution fed 34 families.  Over the next years, other churches wanted to be get involved, and Angel Food began feeding hundreds of families across the southeast.  Now, Angel Food feeds over 500,000 families a month in 35 states. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!

Who qualifies to purchase Angel Food boxes?      

   Everyone!  There are no applications or qualifications to order Angel Food boxes.

 

Where does the food come from?        

   Angel Food Ministries only purchases "restaurant grade"  meats, frozen vegetables, fruits,

   dairy products, etc. thru the best producers/vendors of high quality, "name brand" foods.

   There are never "seconds" or "day old" products in Angel Food boxes.

 

How often can I buy Angel Food boxes?

   The Angel Food boxes are distributed once a month.  You can order every month or as

   often as you would like.                                       

 

How many boxes can I order?

 You may purchase as many regular boxes or special boxes as you would like.

How do I order?   When do I order?   How do I pay?

   There are two options:

      1.  Online, anytime up to 11:59pm on the Monday before the distribution day. 

                      You need to pay with your credit or debit card at the time you place your order.  

                 Orders by food stamps must be placed in person at Life Harvest Church (see below)  

                                      July Online Order Deadline: Monday, July 19th, 11:59pm

      2.  In Person at Life Harvest Church with cash, money order or food stamps.  No checks accepted.

                                                    Wednesday, July  14th   5:30-7pm

                                                    Saturday,  July 17th   9:00-11am

                                                             No Phone Orders Accepted

 

When and where do I pick up my food?

   The boxes of Angel Food are distributed on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Life Harvest Church

   in Verona, for all orders placed before the deadlines for that month.

                    Please bring a box(es), a cooler or a basket to carry your food in.
